*What up family, check out Social Heat is it flamin’. Teyana Taylor created a Hip Hop Cinderella campaign against the backdrop of Harlem, New York, to promote her exclusive “Rose in Harlem” Jordan 1 sneakers. The short film features DJ Khaled as her fairy tale Godfather, foine Jalen Hurts, and cameos from her New York industry peers Remy Ma, Fabolous, Maino, and Lola Brooke. Her daughters Junie and Rue Rose play Teyana’s younger self. Teyana writes in the caption, “Dreams and fairytales are more realistic than the mind perceives it to be. A tangible dream is simply a non-fictional fairytale. As a dreamer, I was often afraid to join life’s magic on the dance floor until I truly started believing in myself. Growing up, I was not the typical girl or kid for that matter. I knew life had more to offer. This sneaker represents not only my story, but it represents everyone who has a dream. Be brave enough to be different, and allow life and TIME to Evolve You. This is my love letter to Harlem and all of the dreamers around the world. .” Look-a-here, Teyana, quit playing with us and create this campaign as a full-fledged film or produce more movies because we know your dope mind has some fantastic stories to tell.
