Prosecutors told a judge in a Los Angeles courtroom Monday (December 6) that more than 30 women have come forward with allegations against a popular young actor.

The women allege that “Superfly” co-star and rapper Kaalan “KR” Walker (pictured) raped or sexually assaulted them in a series of alleged attacks, which stretch back to at least 2013, prosecutors claim. Deputy LA County District Attorney Yasmin Fardghassemi noted the startling figure, which Walker’s defense team rejects.

“As we look at the totality of this case, over 30 victims, the people are not being unreasonable in their selection of only a few victims as it relates to [prior bad acts] purposes,” Fardghassemi said in court, according to Rolling Stone Magazine.

This new information comes ahead of Walker’s trial, which is due to begin next month. Walker was first arrested in 2018 on allegations of luring aspiring models to photo sessions under the false pretense of assisting with their careers before assaulting them.

According to court documents acquired by Rolling Stone, Walker, 26, has pled not guilty to six charges of forcible rape, two instances of illegal intercourse with a minor, and other offenses relating to 11 alleged victims in Los Angeles County.

Attorneys for the prosecution contended on Monday that they had the authority, in addition to the 11 alleged victims, to summon five more claimants to the witness stand during Walker’s forthcoming sex abuse trial. They seek to question the claimants about separate alleged attacks, which were comparable to the accused charges.

These allegations did not result in an indictment against Walker. However, his attorney, Andrew Flier, contended that including the women would add a month to his client’s pending jury trial. This, Flier contended, would ultimately empower prosecutors to “bolster” the case’s “weaker” claims.
