White Was The Right Move In Win Over Chicago

New York Jets second-year signal caller Zach Wilson was so bad in New England against the Patriots and in the post-game press conference, he wasn’t even on the active roster when they hosted the Chicago Bears at MetLife Stadium in a rain soaked afternoon.
Mike White threw for 315 yards (22-28) and three touchdowns, two of which were to Garrett Wilson, and the Jets mauled the Chicago Bears 31-10.

White spoke to the media after the dominant Jets performance afterwards. “It’s awesome,” he said. “I mean, just going out there playing football with your friends and guys you’ve been with for a couple years now.”
Second year head coach Robert Saleh praised the play of White after the game. “He didn’t need to be anybody but Mike White,” he said. “He made the easy look easy, and I thought he did a really good job with that.”
For now, at least, the New York Jets do not have a quarterback controversy. But with tough road games against the Minnesota Vikings and a Buffalo Bills, team that will want revenge for the loss the Jets handed them earlier in the season, it is impossible to predict who will finish the season as the signal caller. But for now, it’s in Mike White we trust for the Jets.
