The acclaimed actress, Letitia Wright is hospitalized after suffering injuries during the production of Marvel’s Black Panther sequel, “Wakanda Forever.”
Variety reported the news, stating, “Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.” She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon,” a spokesperson for Marvel told the publication. Her injuries are reportedly minor.

According to reports, the incident took place while filming a stunt for the sequel in Boston. However, Wright’s injuries are not expected to be severe or impact the movie’s production schedule.
Wright who is best known for her role in “Black Panther” is reprising her role as Shuri, a Wakandan princess and accomplished inventor. After the loss of Chadwick Boseman, Wright says she struggled emotionally. Following his death she stated, “Words can’t describe how I feel. How we all feel, that losing you was forced upon us.”
