The New York Jets had another disappointing performance on Sunday with a 37-15 loss to the Steelers in Pittsburgh. The Jets had a 15-6 lead in the first half and looked in control. An Aaron Rodgers interception with 1:21 remaining in the second quarter led to Pittsburgh scoring with 11 seconds remaining in the period to close the score to 15-13. The Jets would not score another point in the game and Pittsburgh closed the contest on a 31-0 run.  “It was a bad throw, I should have just dumped it underneath,” Rodgers said about his interception late in the second quarter which gave Pittsburgh life before the end of the first half. “For whatever reason it just changed the entire energy, it changed the game.” Rodgers finished the game throwing for 276 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson made his first start of the season and spearheaded the Pittsburgh turnaround. Wilson threw for 264 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. The Jets now fall to 2-5 on the season with a matchup next Sunday in New England. Star receiver Devontae Adams caught three balls for 30 yards in his first game as a member of Gang Green.
