Nearly two years after a white woman was found stuffed in the freezer of her Chicago home. Now, her killer is looking at some serious prison time.

On Wednesday, Sandra Kolalou was sentenced to 58 years in prison for the October 2022 murder of her landlord, 69-year-old Frances Walker, according to CBS Chicago.

In April, she was convicted of first-degree murder, dismembering a body, and concealing a homicidal death. Kolalou was given 50 years for the murder conviction, six years for the dismembered body and two years for aggravated identity theft. Each sentence will be served consecutively.

Per the report from CBS Chicago, during the sentencing hearing, Cook County Judge Ursula Walowski referred to the case as “something of out of a horror movie,” and based on the details, she’s not wrong.

Prosecutors claimed that the 37-year-old Kolalou rented a room from the home of Walker in July 2022. But three months later, the relationship between the two was not in a good place, and tensions grew after Walker served Kolalou an eviction notice. Witnesses claim they heard the two arguing loudly the night the notice was given.

The next day, other tenants claimed that they received suspicious messages from Walker’s phone saying that Kolalou was watching her dog for her and to give her the keys they planned on moving out.
