Normani has a new management team and new music on the way. The 27-year-old performer is now being managed by Brandon Creed and Lydia Asrat after splitting from S10 Entertainment’s Brandon Silverstein in May, according to Rolling Stone.

“With new music on the horizon, and Asrat and Creed now at the helm of her musical career, she and the rest of her team are extremely excited to embark on this new chapter and partnership,” Normani’s new team told the news outlet. “She wishes Silverstein all the best.”

Asrat also manages Coco Jones under her own company, 10Q Management. In 2022, she was included in Forbes’ 30 under 30 list and has co-managed Doja Cat from 2017 until March 2022. On his end, Creed manages artists such as Charli XCX and Troye Sivan. He recently launched his own management company, Good World Management.

Normani isn’t the only artist to have recently parted ways with S10 Entertainment. Anitta parted ways with the company and signed with Republic Records in June.

“Change is good,” Silverstein told Rolling Stone about Normani’s departure. “S10 is headed in another direction, and felt like it was time for us to move on. We achieved incredible success together over seven years. We wish her nothing but the best in her future.”

Normani rose to fame for being in the pop girl group Fifth Harmony. After splitting in 2018, she embarked on a solo career. The performer came out with several singles since then, including the popular hit “Motivation” in 2019, “Wild Side” with Cardi B in 2021 and “Diamonds” with Megan Thee Stallion.

No album or traditional rollout for new music was introduced to the public despite Normani having a dedicated fan base, showstopping visuals and choreography, as well as several tracks included in the Billboard Hot 100. Her fans have often called for new music or an album release date from Normani and her team. The performer has been teasing an upcoming project for years.

“In terms of my career and my music, I know the wait has been extensive but it’s definitely going to be worth it,” she told Billboard last June.
